Musanze: Transformation Ministries Rwanda Gifts Homes to Poverty-Stricken Families
In a heartwarming gesture, Transformation Ministries Rwanda has gifted two poverty-stricken families in Nyabutaka Village, Ninda Cell, Nyange Sector, Musanze District, with brand new homes. The families, who were living in deplorable conditions, were overjoyed by the generous act.
The houses, each equipped with three rooms, a salon, an outside kitchen, toilet, nice chairs, two bedrooms, mattresses with bedcovers, will provide the families with a safe and comfortable living space. The ministry has also urged the families to take care of their new homes and work hard to escape poverty, so they can, in turn, help others in need.
Testimonies from the Families
Nyiransabimana Esther, one of the beneficiaries, expressed her gratitude, saying, “We had an old house that was a problem to sleep in at night. But now, we have a house with paint, cement, and all the basic necessities. We’re thankful to Transformation Ministries Rwanda for changing our lives.”
Mukantabana Angelique, a mother of three, also shared her story, “Before, rainwater would pour into our house, and we couldn’t sleep. Our house was small, and we didn’t have bedrooms or bedcovers. But now, we’re going to live a better life.”
Appreciation from Local Leaders
The Executive Secretary of Nyange Sector, Vedaste Tuyisenge, thanked Transformation Ministries Rwanda for their kindness, saying, “It’s a joy to see these families get a second chance. We urge them to take care of their new homes and work hard to overcome poverty. We appreciate the partnership with Transformation Ministries Rwanda, which is contributing to the country’s progress.”

Mission and Impact
The Director of Transformation Ministries Rwanda, Bishop John Rucyahana, emphasized the organization’s mission to transform lives by providing help in areas such as shelter, education, and livelihood. He said, “This initiative stems from our concern for those in need. We’ve helped 202 students with school fees, gifted 38 cows, and 119 sheep to families in need. We urge everyone to listen to the struggles of their neighbors and offer help where possible.”
